Description

ACO Utrecht prepares an action plan with topics of age-friendly Utrecht for the following years. They want to involve the WHO concept on age-friendly cities as guideline for their plans and focus.

AFEdemy visited two different neighbourhoods in Utrecht (Utrecht-Oost and Utrecht-Overvecht) to investigate and make pictures of issues/challenges older people are facing in these neighbourhoods. The main focus is on the social and physical outdoor environments and the provisions of the municipality. The WHO-concept and the results of these visits are being presented by AFEdemy during a meeting with members of the City Council, older people organisations and other interest group organisations.
